Soccer POW Honors Go To Ferguson of Salem

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Great South Athletic Conference announced the fall sports Players of the Week for all contests played October 20 - 26 and, following voting by the league sports information directors, Sawyer Ferguson of Salem won Women's Soccer Player of the Week .

GSAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week - Sawyer Ferguson of Salem

Sawyer Ferguson, a senior from Billings, Montana, became the first soccer player in Salem history to score 100 points in a career. Her two goals this week gave her 101 career points. She now has 41 career goals and 19 assists. She has helped lead Salem to a 14-4 record this season.

 

The GSAC sports information directors nominate Player of the Week candidates and then vote on the top two nominees in each sport as selected by the conference office. Player of the Week voting occurs on Tuesdays and the weekly announcement of the winners is released each Wednesday morning.
