Wesleyan's Poole Named Women's Soccer Player Of The Week

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Great South Athletic Conference announced the fall sports Players of the Week for all contests played October 13 - 19 and, following voting by the league sports information directors, Wesleyan's Taylor Poole captured Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

GSAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week – Taylor Poole of Wesleyan

Sophomore Taylor Poole (pictured at right) helped Wesleyan to a come from behind win over Warren Wilson last week, scoring all three Wolves goals in the second half of the victory. Wesleyan was down 2-0 at halftime before Poole put the team on her back and pulled off the hat trick.  She now has five goals for the season.

The GSAC sports information directors nominate Player of the Week candidates and then vote on the top two nominees in each sport as selected by the conference office. Player of the Week voting occurs on Tuesdays and the weekly announcement of the winners is released each Wednesday morning.
