Salem's Mojica Win Women's Soccer Weekly Award

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Great South Athletic Conference announced the fall sports Players of the Week for all contests played September 15 - 21 and, following voting by the league sports information directors, Salem's Nataly Mojica captured Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

GSAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week – Nataly Mojica of Salem

Nataly Mojica, a senior from Dallas, Texas, scored three goals and added an assist this weekend to help Salem to a 2-0 weekend. She scored a hat-trick, the first of her career, in a 4-0 victory at West Virginia Tech. One of her goals was directly off of a corner kick. She added an assist in a 3-1 victory at Warren Wilson to help Salem to a 6-2 overall record.

 

The GSAC sports information directors nominate Player of the Week candidates and then vote on the top two nominees in each sport as selected by the conference office. Player of the Week voting occurs on Tuesdays and the weekly announcement of the winners is released each Wednesday morning.
